Hop on a Cure joins Reds in celebration of ALS Triple Play Initiative

The Cincinnati Reds teamed up once again with the ALS Triple Play Initiative—comprising Chair Force 1, Operation Ramp It Up, and Always Lifting Spirits—to honor Lou Gehrig Day and raise awareness for ALS. New to this year, Hop on a Cure (founded by Zac Brown Band’s John Driskell “Hop” Hopkins) performed a pregame concert and answered fan questions. The event highlighted how the three organizations collectively provide wheelchair‑accessible vans, home ramps, and chair lifts for local ALS families. Cincinnati efforts also included fundraising by Smoked Justis, which contributed $30,000 to the initiative. Together, the Reds and ALS nonprofits continue to elevate community support through their impactful “triple play” of services
